We were called to a customer who had reported leaks coming through their ceiling when showering, on investigation we discovered their bath had been installed incorrectly which, in turn, had caused their sealant to break, water to get behind the bath and in time rot the floor.
Engineers removed the bath and rotted sections of the floor, they replaced and reinforced with cement board.
The bath was placed on timbers to correctly spread the weight of the bath when filled with water and the bath was reinstalled and sealed.
